I voted yesterday. It wasn't on the Federal level so the issues that plague the world are not likely to be resolved but what's important is that I voted.
Democracy is a participatory system, which means that we have to take part in order for it to work properly. Fascism, dictatorship, and other bad, bad systems of governance only require its citizens to be silent and inactive.
